About:
Lisa is an illustrator, artist and writer from the South Wales Valleys, and living in Cardiff.
I enjoy experimenting with form and using bold colour. Art is a liminal world where I can create my own conditions and pace. Living with with chronic illness and autism give access to specific sensory experiences and points of view. Art is where I can further explore these perspectives, and gain a type of self-soothing, playful therapy. It’s also an experimental place where I can convey or communicate some of these experiences.
I make my own personal work, and I also collaborate on projects and commissions. If you’d like to work together or commission me to create something, you can get in touch here.
